Our history

Harpie is a jewelry brand designed and created in Liège, Belgium by Alix Tihon.

In Greek mythology, the Harpies were half-woman, half-bird creatures endowed with a sacred character... For us, the Harpy woman is go-getter, dreamer, passionate and does not back down from anything. #HARPIEGIRL

Antiquity, travel and nature are great sources of inspiration for Alix.

From all these influences are born beautiful timeless jewels with a unique design, made of stainless steel and gold-plated, which will never leave you and will go through time with you.

After traveling around the world in recent years, Alix made a 360° turn in her life in September 2018 when she decided to launch her brand, Harpie.

Trained as a pharmacist and nutritionist, but sorely lacking in creativity in her work, she sees her 30th birthday as a turning point in her life.

Passionate about art and fashion, drawing and painting since her childhood, Alix naturally creates Harpie, a universe in which she can fully express herself.

Her first inspirations and her main childhood memories go back to her grandmother's jewelry box, which gives a very vintage touch to her collections.
